While grocery shopping and sharing my faith at Walmart, an 18 year old new employee of Walmart approached to help me. I (Miles) opened by saying, “You are young, where do you stand in the faith.” To my delighted surprise he told me that he calls himself a disciple and follower of Christ rather than a Christian because, as far as he had seen, he had yet to meet one who truly lived the Bible to the word. He reads his Bible and consciously looks to work it into his life.

22 Now become doers of the word, and not only listeners, beguiling yourselves.
He told me that he was saved at 15 years old at which time he was homeless, due to his drug-addict mother in drug rehab and his father rejected him. Praise the Lord, his basketball coach stepped up, housed him and introduced him to Christ Yeshua. Our Heavenly Father is so kind and has his faithful servants in place ready to look after His precious children. This radically changed the young man’s life and his outlook also!
He is now baptized in the Holy Spirit, (yet to speak in tongues).
11 …He (Yeshua) will be baptizing you in holy spirit and fire,
He remarked how his life had already changed completely because of Yahweh, including receiving a full scholarship to college.
We talked more about the Word, touching on sins that are often overlooked and we all need to repent from. I was delighted to hear that he did not watch TV, play games or spend time on Social Media. He is truly hungry for the Word. So, I gave him a copy of the book, KEEPING THE FAITH through the UN-thinkable… He gratefully received it and not much more was said.
However, I came away with a Holy Spirit unction that there was some “unfinished business” to talk about with this young man. Yes, he had a pure and giving heart, a rejoicing and joyful way about him for ALL Yahweh had done for him and he CHOSE to turn his life toward Yahweh, giving his life to Christ. He was mature for his time on the walk in Christ.
And yet… I was to tell him that while the basketball scholarship seemed like an opportunity from Yahweh, that he was to pray, to check the spirit to ensure it was NOT a distraction. We ourselves (my wife and I) had learned that no worldly education and life purpose was in line with the Word of Yahweh.
18 “And others are those being sown into the thorns. These are those who hear the word, 19 and the worries of this eon, and the seduction of riches and the desires about the rest, going in, are stifling the word, and it is becoming unfruitful.”
As keen as this young man was to follow and fulfill in his life that which the world desired – the wealth, status and pride seeking goals that lead to Sin and death, it is for him (all of us) to discern between that which serves us or Yahweh.
13 “No domestic can be slaving for two lords, for either he will be hating one and loving the other, or he will be upholding one and despising the other. You can not slave for Yahweh and mammon.”
I felt sure in the spirit that this timing was imperative. I searched the store for him again, but was unable to find him, so I went straight back to the RV and wrote him a letter in that very moment. The letter was to the effect that he should pray long and hard to seek Yahweh’s perfect will and purpose for his life from such an amazing and pure start… before the world got its corrupted hands on him.
I myself did seek confirmation that this letter was from Yeshua.
8 So Moses said to them: Stand by and let me hear what instruction Yahweh may give for you.
So I went back in the store and the first person I spoke to was a Line Manager who was the only one who knew who this young man because he had only just started working there. This was also the only person who had his cell number who proceeded to text him right in front of me to tell him that I had left the letter in safe hands for him to collect. Praise Yah for showing.
This is the letter I wrote to him:
Blessings to you! A word from Yahweh for you…
This is Miles (cell: _________). We met in Walmart at about 9:30pm last night (March 31, 2026). When I was in prayer at 5am this morning, Yahweh spoke to me, in my mind, a word for you.
First, to recap on last night’s conversation, I asked you:
“If Yahweh required you to, would you give up anything
if it was coming between you and Him?”
We talked about how a “god” or idol is anything or anyone that is held in preference to Yahweh or something or someone we would protect or defend rather than surrender to Yahweh. I then asked you, “Would you even give up a passion like basketball to Him?” You said, “Yes.” You confirmed that you would surrender anything for Him.
You have a pure heart, and you are wise beyond your years about what a true Christian is. Still, you are young in the faith and there is much to learn (which is so glorious). The great thing is, Yahweh has sown in you an ability to learn fast and act on it quickly. This you have already proven. With this pure and Yah-loving heart, this makes you important to Yahweh and someone He can use… if you let Him. You have to choose between living a life the world desires for you, or a life Yahweh desired and designated for you before you were born. What the world desires and what Yahweh desires are not the same thing. In fact they are opposites. Yahweh will put the desires of your heart to you, ALWAYS in accord with His will and purpose for you. He has so much of His glory intended for you now.
There are some things I encourage you to do, for you to determine for yourself which path to take. The time to prepare is NOW. You will know as you go whether or not this is of, and from, Yahweh.

For you to fully appreciate the word Yahweh has for you today, it would help you to gain an even deeper understanding than you already have of a few things of Yahweh and the Holy Spirit. To start with here, the “Panoply of Yahweh (God).” Read Ephesians 6:10-17. And not just “read” it. You will probably have read about the panoply (armor) before, even heard someone teach on it. Read each verse carefully. When you have read through it once, read verse 11 again and focus on those words about what it says the armor is for. Then ask Yahweh to show you what each of those elements of the armor are for, and how to use them for His purpose.
For instance, the shield of faith is that which “extinguishes the fiery arrows of the wicked one.” He calls them “fiery arrows” because of what they can do to you when not guarded and the damage they can do, YET they do not always seem like fiery arrows when they are coming at you. Why? Read verse 11 AGAIN – Paul tells us that the devil uses “stratagems.” That word means:
A plan or scheme, especially one used to outwit an opponent or achieve an end,
for example:
a series of devious stratagems
I was in the military and so I know that each battle or mission always has a well-thought out strategy with a specific objective. We are amidst a spiritual battle and the devil’s strategies/stratagems are clever and devious plans intended to throw believers off the path of righteousness, distracting them away from Yahweh. Why devious? Because you have to be very on guard and in full awareness to spot it. As I said, it is a spiritual battle (2 Corinthians 10:4), not always one we can see or hear with our natural eyes and ears. REMEMBER, Yahweh has provided all you need to win every spiritual battle. Christ is IN you, and as 1 John 4:4 declares:
4 You are of God, little children, and you have conquered them, for greater is He Who is in you than he who is in the world.
NOW, going back to the subject of the word Yahweh told me for you. Answer these three questions and then read what Yahweh told me about the things that have been presented before you right now in your life:
Ask these next questions to yourself. And think on each, pray about them, go to Father and ask Him to show you. He promises to answer ANYTHING when we request what is of His Will (Matthew 7:7).
- What is the life purpose that a college would lead you to? Again, think about what they are educating you for, and the purpose of the career that would follow from it.
- WHO do you think gave you the full scholarship, through basketball (something you are good at and love doing), Yahweh or the devil?? You said it was a blessing from Yahweh because you got saved and committed your life to Him, and THIS Word I am giving you now came out of what Yahweh disciplined me with this morning for not bringing to your attention last night.
- Would our loving Father in heaven send one of His children into a pit of alligators? Obviously: No.
And I KNOW even from the little time we spent together and what you said to me, where your heart is: that you love Yahweh and Yeshua and would give all up for Them. You have already been homeless, which means you have already lost everything and had nothing and yet NOW you have found EVERYTHING in Christ Yeshua.
Do NOT let the world, which Yahweh hates, get a hold on you. The world and all its desires is of the devil. All the world’s “demands” on us and the so-called “delights” they bring for us are wrapped in the deception of riches, wealth, possessions, achievement and status. (READ ALL THESE: Romans 8: 5-10; John 15:17-19; 1 Corinthians 3:18-23; 1 John 2:15-17.)
As per the Scriptures (listed above), and what you have read in that print out, Yahweh HATES the desires, ambitions and purposes of the world. There is no education in the world that can prepare you for His purpose and call on your Life except the Bible and the Holy Spirit, both of which you already have a “full scholarship” for, and He is putting people in your life to help you stay on His path for you. These have already been gifted to you and are there for you to use and learn from, from NOW onwards.
College is WORLDLY! (Not many people know this… even Christians do not know this.) Praise the Lord, you are not a “Christian.” You are a true disciple of Christ:
31 Jesus, then, said to the Jews who have believed Him, “If ever you should be remaining in My word, you are truly My disciples, 32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will be making you free.”
(John 8:31-32)
IF my wife, Tamra, would have REMAINED in the hospital plugged into those drugs, they would have KILLED HER! The drugs they were pumping into her CAUSED her to go into a coma. There is no such thing as health care, there is only health business.
College follows the same principle as hospitals… its purpose is driven by greed (idolatry – Colossians 3:5). NEITHER of these enterprises are of YAHWEH. The Bible tells us that He is our Provider (Hebrew: Yahweh Jireh), and He is our Healer (Yahweh Rapha), He is our Shepherd (Yahweh Ro’i).
Do not fall for the worldly dream. College is a waste of time. Yahweh has a calling on your life. College, basketball (or anything of this world) will not lead you closer to Him. It will only lead you away from Him. It is a deception of the devil. What if college blocks you from all Yahweh has for you?
Last night you quoted James 1:22 to me, “Now become doers of the word, and not only listeners, beguiling yourselves.”
So you know well enough to do the Word and to not be fooled. Therefore do what James also declared:
7 You may be subject (surrender), then, to God, yet withstand (stand firm against) the Adversary (devil), and he will be fleeing from you. 8 Draw near to God, and He will be drawing near to you.”
(James 4:7-8)
YAHWEH has already started giving you ALL the knowledge that you need for the life HE created you for!
Yahweh has also put me in your path to guide you, if you so desire. This does not necessarily mean leaving your church. It does mean, as precious as you AND your calling are to Yahweh, you are to be careful of whom you are around and who/what is influencing you who/that are “of the world.”
If you desire to stay in contact, not knowing your church members nor those around you is just fine. My heart is toward Yahweh alone and while I will speak to others with you, I will not be persuaded by the opinions of any men led by traditions. I have separated myself to Yahweh and I ONLY obey His ways.
You can speak to me, text me ANY TIME. I surrendered my life to Yahweh and so it is not my time, it is His time. Take account of this seriously. This is an opportunity. I will ONLY talk Bible to you. Not opinions, not wild interpretations. I will ALWAYS encourage you to seek Yeshua and Yahweh directly for their confirmation, to “test the spirits” (1 John 4:1). Then you will know whether or not I speak Yahweh’s Truth over you. Let us ALL (myself and my wife included) fall on our knees, seeking YAHWEH’S WILL for our lives… not what others think is a good idea, not what logic or reason may say, not traditions, not even our own dreams or ideas, ONLY THE WILL OF YAHWEH! Let us REMEMBER what the Bible says for us to do:
15 Through Him, then, we may be offering up the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of lips avowing His name.
16 Now of well doing and contributing be not forgetful, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
3 …with humility, deeming one another superior to one’s self, 4 not each noting that which is his own, but each that of others also.
35 “All I intimate to you, that, thus toiling, you must be supporting the infirm. Besides, remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘Happy is it to give rather than to get.’”
31 “You, then, should not be worrying, saying, ‘What may we be eating?’ or ‘What may we be drinking?’ or ‘With what may we be clothed?’ 32 For for all these the nations are seeking. For aware is your heavenly Father that you need all of these. 33 Yet seek first the kingdom and its righteousness, and these all shall be added to you.”
7 “Now going, herald, saying that ‘Near is the kingdom of the heavens!’ 8 The infirm be curing, the dead be rousing, lepers be cleansing, demons be casting out. Gratuitously you got; gratuitously be giving.”
12 “This is My precept, that you be loving one another, according as I love you. 13 Greater love than this has no one, that anyone may be laying down his soul for his friends. 14 You are My friends, if you should be doing whatever I am directing you.”
Father,
Bless this young man that YOU set up for me to meet.
Open his eyes to TRUTH!
Teach him to hear ONLY YOUR VOICE!
Strengthen him to follow YOU LORD with no distractions of the world (even distractions that have become acceptable in the church).
Guide him in YOUR WAYS Father!
Keep him FAITHFUL to the end, to receive the wreath of LIFE!
We give YOU and YOU ALONE ALL THE PRAISE, HOLY FATHER!

Let us all pray this prayer for ourselves… living FULLY FOR YAHWEH!
PRAISE HIS NAME IN ALL THE EARTH!
